Salary: $60,000 TO $82,000 RANGE Qualifications: Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each basic responsibility satisfactorily and meet education and experience requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in supply chain management, general business, finance, marketing or engineering required
- MBA preferred
- 2-3 Years general work experience required
- 1-2 Years supply chain, logistics, procurement, manufacturing, operations or related experience required
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Prior Project Management experience strongly preferred
Duties: Basic Responsibilities and Objectives Include:
- Matrix reporting responsibilities to the corporate eSourcing Team and a Procurement Business Leader
- Build and support total material velocity across a corporate Business Group or World Area
- Build eSourcing plans for future bid volume and savings
- Identify sourcing opportunities through regular communication with Divisions and review of internal systems (i.e. Parts Analysis)
- Support Divisions by managing select and key eSourcing projects (Top 10 project initiative)
- Provide Divisions with bid event strategies and goal setting
- Provide support to Divisions on all procurement tools (MIN, ES, IM, ECM) and the Sourcing Process
- Develop best-practice and training material for use throughout the company
- Plan and conduct training and large group presentations to Division leadership
- Data Analysis
o Commodity/supplier purchases
o Pricing forecasting and measurement
o Industry/market analysis
o Project reporting
- Ensure bid events are conducted in a fair and ethical manner
- Management of strategic sourcing software vendor(s)
- Implement new ideas and technology mechanisms that drive advanced usage of the online sourcing tools (i.e. total cost bid events)
- Provide business need feedback to improve the ease-of-use and functionality of all eSourcing software tools
- Global travel required (20%)
