Education and Experience: 2-4 years experience with a company selling to national retailers, experience with apparel a plus 2-4 years experience working with EDI 2-4 years of involvement importing products from overseas and shipping domestically 2-4 years experience managing relationships with customers is desired Bachelors degree required

Duties: Summary of Position: Responsible for customers orders from production placement to delivery. Duties Include receiving the customer Purchase Order, turning it into production Purchase Orders for overseas or domestic vendors, tracking the production/delivery, resolving all issues that may arise and ensure on time delivery to the customer with related invoicing responsibilities. The position will act as the liaison between our customers, our vendors and us.
CMDM Roles & Responsibilities: Place purchase orders from national retail customers into overseas factories & enter into company software system Ensure customer orders reflect accurate costs and requested delivery details Track progress of numerous orders against confirmed factory completion dates Actively work to anticipate and resolve issues that could affect on time delivery of first quality product to our customers. Communicate with assigned customers or with respective salesman on a daily or weekly basis as needed. Communicate changes from customers to factory and communicate delivery or production issues that cannot be resolved from factory to customer Coordinate samples from factory to customer for approval, occasionally photograph or measure samples, as needed Coordinate apparel labels, hangtags, testing, carton marking Coordinate ocean and land shipping with freighters/warehouse Create shipping labels/packing list/export documentation Resolve customer charge backs and negotiate resolution with suppliers Process invoice for customer, often through EDI system Coordinate domestic production of quick turn programs including printing, labeling, packaging Work with 3rd party logistics/distribution providers as necessary Assist with sourcing and new source development as requested Manage inventory related to assigned customer base Coordinate with warehouse/distribution team to ensure on time shipment of orders to customers Conduct occasional sales analysis related to assigned customers Manage all replenishment programs of assigned customers New customer setup
