Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
AAS Degree Warehouse or Operations Management and American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification is preferred
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years in a management position
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a warehouse environment
Must possess knowledge of current DOT regulations
General Skills:
Must have a working knowledge of computer systems and must possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as both oral and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to drive a forklift
Class E Chauffeurs license or above preferred
Post offer drug testing and physical required
Duties: Guiding, directing, and motivating subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. Issue disciplinary action as required.
Coordinating the work and activities of department members to accomplish daily tasks and department goals.
Communicate with customer service and manufacturing to monitor the quality of the product and service received.
Manage an effective and service-orientated warehouse and distribution operation ensuring that the correct procedures are established and adhered to.
Manage the warehousing and distribution of finished goods as required to maintain accurate inventory controls and disposition of product distribution to support manufacturing and customer demands.
