Duties: POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Freight Payment will be responsible for the overall success of the company by using their experience in the Freight Audit and Payment industry.
KEY RESULTS AREAS:
Key results areas range from assisting in the initial customer discussions, presentation and proposals through implementation and ongoing operations. Manage and oversee all day to day business Evaluate standard operating procedures, business rules and processes to enhance efficiency. Work with Sunset Transportation management team to facilitate growth of company as a whole. Manage reporting and key performance indicators for preparing budgets and forecasts on a routine basis. Understand freight audit and payment systems: manage system enhancements, process improvements, and ongoing development. Lead the integration of new accounts by understanding and adhering to customer requirements within the established timeline and scope. Identify and evaluate new product and service opportunities. Provide leadership and management of product development and launch. Work with sales and marketing to develop comprehensive marketing material and campaign efforts to find and secure new business. Work with sales to maintain and grow existing business. Use professional judgment to assess the impact of decisions with new customers along with the profitability of the company. Interview and select new teammates. Train and/or coordinate training on all processes and systems.
