PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manages Inventory Performance and Customer Service for a selected group of products. Is charged with optimizing inventory on hand.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Interfaces with Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Order Management, Quality Control and Forecasting to meet the customer service and inventory needs of each constituency and to improve overall forecasts for products
Analyzes, reports and participates in projects to eliminate backorders, optimize inventory and increase customer service
Performs data analysis in GRASP and Access databases
Analyzes forecasts for accuracy and takes action to improve
Analyzes planned orders for timing, value and inventory impact. Converts planned orders to purchase requisitions as necessary
